i love, love, love this skirt (mo'better pic to come)! however, i had a hell of a time with the waistband. for me, it just doesn't work as designed. it's very loosey goosey. it might be better if it were ribbed instead of stockinette. after spending so much time knitting this, i just didn't have the energy to take it out and reknit the waistband. instead, i took the waist seam out 4 times and reseamed it until i had taken in enough fabric at the side (about 4 inches) to make it fit.
i have no current projects on needles now. what's a girl to knit?

oooh, you deserve to take a knit break. a beautiful skirt knit with cotton ease. brilliant!

Your skirt is gorgeous! Well done. I've never knitted a skirt but you've inspired me.

That skirt came out beautiful!! I love it! I made a skirt not too long ago and it turned out okay, but your skirt has a lot of Sass! I love it!

the stitches look pretty...but can you please take a picture of you standing up wearing it? i saw it in the brochure and anything shown made in a sample size for a toothpick doesn't give one a good idea how a piece really looks in the Real World.
before i make it, i'd like to see what it looks like on a real human's body. not a mannequin/model.
:)

Holy jeez. OK. I'm not saying that you're a 'toothpick'. What I mean to say is that models are usually impossibly small, which makes it hard for those of us who are...well..."packin' junk in the trunk"...to see how a garment is going to flow on our particular bodies.
Please, I hope I didn't offend. I really didn't mean to...
